The bulk of what we care for you to see is in the 'articles' section, so I'll recommend you start there. Ensis, Unordained, and Insignis are the main authors at the moment, and we promise they're not the same person. Most of us are related to each other through schooling, family, or employment though; this isn't a random group of users. We disagree often, and when we think to, we make those disagreements public. It forces us to be a little more careful in our arguments, it invites others to participate, it keeps a nice record of our stupid ideas, and (though this is unlikely) might help inform your opinion on various matters. If you'd like to suggest a new source of conflict, feel free to email us; we're always looking for something to argue about. We've also taken to using this as a public documentation dumping zone; most of us are technical, so that's mostly the kind of FYI you'll find posted. If you're not a computer nerd, that part probably won't interest you.

Features
Each item (article or otherwise) links to other 'related' items directly (at our discretion) but we also calculate 'similar' items automatically based on some nasty math. Graph and 'directions' features (on each page) have been disabled until I can make them more useful. We recently (may 2005) started tracking hits to items, particularly which other items you're coming from; when we have enough data, maybe we'll do something fun with all that. So far, it looks like you mostly use us as a quote reference, you sometimes find our links to other sites, and only if you're forced to do you actually read the articles we actually care about you reading. Maybe we should just start posting choice quotes out of our own articles; it might be more effective.

Recent news
None, apart from very frequent updates to our articles. There's a joke in there somewhere. At least two of our registered users have babies on the way, congratulations to them (again -- they seem to be doing all the reproducing that the rest of us aren't.)
