This article is mostly useful for anecdotal evidence of the high price of health care and the lessening interest in providing healthcare to those who need it with mercy rather than invoices. Part of a larger case for federally-funded health care, mostly because of the whim of insurance companies and the pricing policies of hospitals. (I hadn't ever quite seen the ratio of 1:4 between insured and uninsured patient costs.)

Worthy of discussion and a few grains of salt.
